Showcases of Vetiver Innovation

We are excited to highlight the success of our Vetiver Crafting and By-products Development Programme, supported by a generous US$21,195 grant from CCRIF SPC’s Small Grants Programme.

CCRIF SPC, the region’s leading provider of parametric insurance, continues to invest in community resilience projects across the Caribbean. Their support has allowed us to train 20 women in transforming vetiver grass into high-quality, eco-friendly crafts and products.

At our recent exhibition, participants showcased woven mats, baskets, natural teas, perfumes, incense, and more, demonstrating talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial potential.

Congratulations to our winners:

1st Tracey Browne

2nd Davina Laville-Joyce

3rd Cornelia Roberts

This project empowers women, protects agricultural lands, and promotes sustainable livelihoods proving that with the right support, a simple grass can build stronger, more resilient communities.

Thank you, CCRIF SPC, for investing in local innovation and climate resilience!
