An entrepreneur is an individual who organizes and manages a business and accepts some sort of risk – usually financial.
An Entrepreneur: Sees an opportunity.  Makes a plan.  Starts the business.  Manages the business.  Receives the profits.
A person in this role is often characterized as motivated, original, independent, optimistic, creative, and hard-working.  Entrepreneurs may energize an existing industry by using new methods, whether by production, organisation, or structure.

Whether you are fresh out of high school, Antigua State College, already own a business or have an idea for a business and want to advance your knowledge, the GARD Center caters to your needs.

Take our course in Business Management (BM) and learn:

• How to market your business and your products
• Manage employees
• Costing and pricing
• Telephone etiquette
• How to construct emails, letters, design business cards, etc.
• Deal with combative clients

This course runs for twelve (12) weeks at a central location, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
