Celebrating Success: Soap-Making Programme Closing Ceremony

Today, the GARD Center proudly hosted the Closing Ceremony of our Soap-Making Training Programme, marking the completion of a powerful journey of learning, creativity, and transformation.

This programme, which ran from November 4, 2025 to today, brought together a dedicated group of participants from His Majesty’s Prisons who embraced the opportunity to develop new skills, explore entrepreneurship, and invest meaningfully in their personal growth.

Under the expert guidance of Mrs. Cheryl Samuel, our Soap-Making Tutor, participants mastered the science and art of soap production experimenting with formulas, scents, natural additives, and quality-focused techniques. Beyond technical skills, they strengthened teamwork, perseverance, and confidence, demonstrating the power of resilience and second chances.

Today’s ceremony honoured not just the completion of a course, but the beginning of new possibilities, new dreams, and new paths toward sustainable livelihoods and positive reintegration.

We were truly honoured to have several distinguished guests join us in celebration:
