GARD Center graduate receives plague for outstanding business venture at World Cup Cricket
Ms. Elka Price at GARD Center 's graduation in April, 2007, was awarded a plaque for her outstanding achievement as a young entrepreneur in winning a contract with World Cup 2007. Ms. Price was successful in getting approval to sell use the world cup logo on her seat cushions and head bandanas. Ms. Price owns her own business called EKP Furnishings and manufactures all types of cushions.
Despite some unfortunate legal problems in where and how she could sell her products, this young spirited entrepreneur is a fine role model for other young men and women who are contemplating setting up their own businesses.
